Dragonflies

Happy Monday and I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had a little time to play in the craft room between running my kids around from basketball and birthday parties and made a fun tag using the Visible Image Live in the Moment set.

I started out with a background I had made previously using watercolor paper and Shimmerz Vibez in Jeni B Bleu and Hermit the Frog. I love these colors together and thought it would be perfect for some dragonflies.

I stamped the main dragonfly in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Emerald Creek Patina Oxide. I love the green and gold this powder has in it. For the background dragonflies, I used Versafine ink and Emerald Creek Midnight Magic which is a blue and black mix of embossing powder, but came out darker since I stamped them in back ink. Both of these embossing powders have a beautiful shine, perfect for dragonflies.

I used the Jeni B Bleu spray on my craft mat and took the circle stamp in the set and stamped a bit in the background to add texture.

I used the sentiment from the Visible Image Believe In Me set and white heat embossed in on black card stock. I cut the sentiment apart and adhered it to the tag with foam tape. To finish my tag, I used some blue satin ribbon in my stash.
