Happy Friday! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog today with a fun giraffe card I made for my daughter’s friend for her birthday.
I love this image from Pink Ink Design and what is even more fun, she comes with sunglasses!
This giraffe was so fun to color up. For my card I stamped the giraffe in my MISTI using Versfine ink and clear heat embossed her.
I used Zig Real Brush Markers to watercolor her. For the body I used 052 Bright Yellow, 070 Orange, 220 Tea Rose, and 027 Dark Pink. For the background I used 038 Peacock Blue and 031 Colbalt Blue. I finished the image with some clear sparkle pen.
The detail on this giraffe is great and so fun. After the image was dry, I used the Polkadoodles Celebrations set for the sentiment and added clear sparkle embossing powder for extra shine. To finish my card I added some Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hi, I love your giraffe, you made it very beautiful😍
Did you use the embossingpowder so the paint doesn’t run out? Or does it look better with it? Would black embossingpowder looks nice too, you think?

Thank you. Yes I used Versafine black ink and clear embossing powder. I think any color would be a fun addition to this gorgeous giraffe
