Flower Challenge #38

It’s November which means its time for another fun challenge over at The Flower Challenge. This month our challenge is to add spots or stripes to our floral card.

Topflight Stamps is sponsoring a $25 gift card to their store for our challenge winner this month. I might be a little partial (since I’m on their DT) but I love the unique variety of stamps Topflight carries as well as the fast shipping!

We also have a Guest Designer this month, Tracy from Whoistracy. Go check out her blog for some more beautiful inspiration.

For my card this month I used Visible Image Creative Chaos. I love this stamp and paired it with the Visible Image Strobe Stencil.

main

I started off by making my background with Bristol Smooth paper and blending Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide onto the background. I then used the stencil and blended Peacock FeathersĀ  and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxides.

I stamped my flowers on Bristol Smooth paper and heat embossed them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in 026 Light Pink and 027 Dark Pink.

I fussy cut out the flowers and then stamped the flower images on my background in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed them so that I could get all the beautiful details of this image on my background. I used foam tape to adhere the flower on top of the stamped images to give the card more dimension.

I then used the circle image in the set and stamped it on to the background with Versamark ink and Ranger Enchanted Gold embossing powder.

I finished off the card with the Visible Image sentiment from One of a Kind in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to check out the other Design Team’s inspiration as well as play along with us this month.

Also I have a 10% off coupon code for you to use to shop at Topflight Stamps. Simply type ERICKASTRANGE into the discount code for 10% off your order.
