Visible Image Butterflies

Happy Monday! Its been a little gloomy here lately so I thought I’d brighten things up in the craft room with this Visible Image Entwined Butterflies stencil and Distress Oxides.

I love Distress Oxide blending on Bristol Smooth paper because it is so easy to get a nicely blended background. For this quick card I used Distress Oxide in Squeezed Lemonade, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet.

Once the blending was done, I let it dry a bit so that I could heat embossed my sentiment without it sticking all over. I love this So Much Stronger Sentiment set from Visible Image and the fonts are so pretty.

I stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink and heat embossed it. To finish the card I used some Black Nuvo Drops.
