Visible Image Stencils with Gelatos

I’m over on the Topflight blog today with a quick card I made using gelatos and some Visible Image stamps. I’ve had these gelatos in my stash for awhile and finally decided to play with them and use these fun Visible Image stencils – Butterfly Ink and Strobes.

I love the look and texture the gelatos gave this butterfly. First I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Antique Linen and Ground Espresso on to Bristol Smooth paper. Then I used the Strobe Stencil on top of the Butterfly stencil and then used the gelatos to rub lines into the butterfly. I took off the Strobe stencil and then filled in the gaps with the pink and purple gelatos.

 

 

This was so fun to play with and I might have to get my gelatos out more and find some different ways to use them.I stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it

I took some water and white paint and added splatters around the card to give it a little more texture.
