Thank You Wreath

Today I’m over on the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps blog with a thank you card using some stamps from their new release and Distress Oxides.

I love the look of this wreath with distress oxide blending. I used Old Paper, Evergreen Bough, and Chipped Sapphire for my background on Bristol Smooth paper.

I stamped the Viney Wreath in Versafine Vintage Sepia and heat embossed it in Penny embossing powder and fussy cut it around it. I didn’t want the white paper showing through so I used some Espresso Distress Oxide to darken it up a bit. I stamped the Poinsettia on Bristol paper and added color to them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Usually I use the darker color towards the center of the flower, but for these I colored it the opposite way and had darker tips. I fussy cut these out as well so that I could place them on the wreath. I used a light gray around the edges to darken up the paper a bit.

I stamped the Thanks for All sentiment on vellum and clear heat embossed it. I then added 3D glue dots to the back of the wreath and placed the sentiment behind it. When attaching my flowers, I accidentally covered the “s” in things but trust me its there.
