Shimmerz Unicorn

Happy Tuesday! I hope you made it through Monday and your week is going well. Today I’m over on the Shimmerz Paints Blog with a cute unicorn card I made using a variety of Shimmerz Paint products to ensure the most spark possible for my unicorn. After all unicorns and Shimmerz are know for their sparkle.

I started by stamping the Unicorn from Picket Fence in Ink on 3 Fadeout Ink on waterolor paper so that I could do some no-line watercoloring with Shimmerz, Creameez, and Inklingz. These little pots are perfect for watercoloring and pack a lot of color and shine.

For my background, I tried a little something different. I used a stencil with the Spun Sugar Dazzlerz which is a shiny paste. Then, before removing the stencil I sprayed the stencil with Chick-a-dee Spritz and Jeni B Bleu Vibez. I then sprayed a little Goldie Lox Shimmeringz all over the stencil to help the colors blend.

Fun Note – Before you clean off your stencil, grab another piece of paper and press the stencil on to it with a paper towel. You get the reverse image and another fun background to play with.

Once my background was dry, I used foam tape to adhere the unicorn and white heat embossed sentiment to the card base.

I love all the beautiful shine this card has and how well all of the Shimmerz Paints products work together to create a unique card for a special friend.
