Creative Chaos

I hope your day is going well, I’m so excited to share my first project as a Guest Designer for Visible Image. Let me just start by saying I’m a huge fan and I love their unique images and awesome sentiments! All the products blend so well together, inspiration is easy to find.

Ok on to my card

I love this flower and this stencil is so fun to play with. I started out by blending Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide on Bristol Smooth paper. I added Mustard Seed Distress Oxide along the edge to make it a little darker. I placed the Collision Stencil and then blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide on top.

I set the panel aside to dry and then stamped the flower from Creative Chaos on Copic friendly paper and used RV91, RV63, RV55, and RV66 to color it in. I fussy cut around the flower portion and used a black marker to  color the edges of the image to give it a crisp look. I stamped the flower again on my blended panel in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it. I wanted to make sure that all the beautiful details of the flower were still on my panel.

I used 3D Zots from Therm-o-web to adhere the flower on top of the stamped image to add dimension to the card. I also added additional stamped images from the Creative Chaos set along the edges using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide and Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink.

I added a sentiment from the So Much Stronger set and white heat embossed it on black cardstock. I love the scripty look and the sentiment is perfect.

I adhered the sentiment with some foam tape and used clear droplets on the card as an extra embellishment.
