Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp

I hope your weekend is going well! I wanted to share some exciting news, I’ve joined the Design Team for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and I’m so excited. I have been a huge fan for many years and I’m thrilled to be able to work with their products and with this awesome team.

I love floral stamps and snarky sentiments so I decided to make my first cards using a little bit of both.

I started by blending these beautiful Catherine Pooler Inks in Be Mine and All That Jazz on Bristol Smooth paper. Then I took the peony stamp and spritzed it with water to leave a watermark on the background. I then used the ink that was transferred to the stamp on a white piece of card stock for the second card.

I stamped the peonies on Copic friendly paper and ink and used the following colors for my flowers: YR09, YR07, YR04, Y17, Y15 and for the inside C10,C7, C5 and white gel pen. I just love these peonies and they were so fun to color. I fussy cut the flowers out and attached them with 3D dots for a little dimension.

I stamped the sentiment (one of my favorites) in Versmark ink and heat white embossed it so that it would stand out against my darker background.

To finish the card, I added some sequins and attached it to a dark blue card base.

For the second card, I used the transferred ink from my background from the first card for the background. I love the watercolor look it left behind.

I stamped the sentiment in Suede Shoes CP Ink and added clear embossing powder for a touch of shine as well as some splatters of sparkle pen and Nuvo Drops.
