The Flower Challenge Reminder

We have a fun sketch challenge over at The Flower Challenge this month, have you had a chance to play along? Here is the sketch and the card I made for the challenge.

I love these Altenew Persian Motifs flowers and all the fun ways you can color them.

I started by stamping the motifs in Versfine ink and gold heat embossing them on Bristol Smooth paper. I took out my Zig Real Brush pens (it’s been awhile since I’ve played with these) and started blending different colors together. I used Lemon Yellow, Cobalt Blue and Purple and blended them in different ways to come up with these fantastic colors.

Once my images were dry, I used the coordinating due to cut them out. I took some gold paper in my stash and the Altenew Fine Rectangles die and cut it out. I played around with adding several lines per rectangle but in the end I liked the look of the single fine box.

I then added the sentiment in gold embossing and some pretty gold sequins as accent. I offset the card a little so a small piece of the aqua card base was shown, just enough to not compete with my design and colors.
