Stencil and Alcohol Pearl Inks

I hope you are having a beautiful spring day. I’m over at Topflight Stamps  playing with a technique I saw watching Jennifer McGuire use here. I was so inspired I had to get out my alcohol pearl inks and my favorite Alexandra Renke stencil and play. Here is one of the cards I made.

I used my this stencil with embossing paste on heavyweight Yupo paper.

After the paste was dry, I started playing with the alcohol pearl inks from Ranger.

I let the first layer dry and then came back with a little alcohol blending solution to reactive the ink and make it a little tacky. I then used some foil to add a little gold to my card. Check out the fun detail.

I then added the sentiment on vellum and gold embossed it to match the foil.

This was so much fun to play with and I will definitely be doing some more in the future. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
