Colorful Stenciling

I’m over at the Topflight Stamps blog today with a colorful stenciled card using Distress Oxides and photo-paper.

I started out taking this dinky stencil from That’s Crafty (it’s perfect for ATCoins too) and blended Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon, Squeezed Lemon, and Picked Raspberry onto the paper. Once I filled my paper, I misted the photo paper with water laid a paper towel over it to dry it.

I love the bright colors the oxides leave on the photo-paper. I  used Archival Ink for the sentiment and then used Distress Glaze to seal the project.

After I adhered the paper onto a card base, I used a white and black marker to add a frame around paper. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!
