Follow Your Heart

I’m over at the Topflight Stamps blog today.  I hope you are having a happy Valentines Day! I have a non traditional Valentines Day card using a set from AALL&Create.

I love the details on these heart balloons and thought I would try to mix it up using white embossing and black stamping.

I had made this background using a variety of sprays. I never used it for a project so decided to pull it out of my stash of backgrounds and use it with these pretty stamps. I took Versamark ink and stamped the hearts around the page and then heat embossed them with some Brutus Monroe Sterling Shimmer. I then used Versfine ink and clear heat embossed it.

I decided to white heat emboss the sentiments of black paper to help them stand out against my busy background. I added some foam tape to the back for some dimension.

I added some Alexandre Renke washi tape as a small embellishment. Aren’t these hearts fun? I then added the card to a black card base to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day and have a chance to follow your heart!
