Valentine Lines

I’m over at Topflight Stamps today with a quick Valentines Day card using some alcohol inks and a pretty sentiment from Craft Emotions. One of my New Year’s Resolutions (not that I’m great keeping them) is to use more of what I have in my stash. So I pulled out my alcohol inks that I haven’t used in awhile and started making fun backgrounds.

I started by using alcohol inks on heavy yupo paper andused a blender tool and made lines on the pad with Lemonade, Raspberry, and Turquoise and blending solution. Then I just drew lines on the yupo paper and came out with this fun design.

I let the ink dry and then stamped the sentiment in my MISTI with Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it.

I came across these fun little flowers in my stash and they seemed like the perfect embellishment for my simple card.
