Happy Couple

Have you had a chance to play with us over at the Flower Challenge? This month we are focusing on a Special Occasion.

Here is my DT card for the challenge to celebrate a wedding.

I started by stamping the flower bundle on Bristol Smooth paper in Versafine ink and clear heat embossing the image. I fussy cut the image out since I don’t have the coordinating die. I then used my Zig markers to watercolor the images. I decided to make the thistles look more like marigolds with the yellow and orange.

I used some twine in my stash and tied it around the bundle. I wanted a cleaner card, so I decided to die cut the Altenew Plaid cover plate in white and attach it to a white base.

I adhered everything together and used foam tap for the flowers. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink on a scratch piece of white paper and clear heat embossed it. I also attached it to the card with some foam tape. I finished my card with a couple of clear sequins.
