Bouquet Bookmark

I’m over at the Topflight Blog today with a bright bouquet that I made into a bookmark for my gratitude journal.

I hope you had a wonderful Halloween and I can’t believe we are already in November, the year is going so fast. I know things will be getting hectic with the holidays coming up so I wanted to start a journal to make sure I take time every day to stop and be grateful for all we have. This bright bookmark will be the perfect pairing for my journal.

I started by stamping the flowers on some Bristol Smooth paper in Versamark ink and gold heat embossing them. Then, I used the Jane Davenport Mermaid markers to color my flowers using similar colors to loosely blend them with a waterbrush.

Once it was dry, I used some gold spray to lightly mist the bookmark. I then found this sentiment I had cut out for another card and thought it would be perfect. I used a hole punch and some ribbon in my stash to finish the bookmark.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing week weekend!
