A Pink Rose

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and maybe even getting a little chance to craft! It’s the reminder post for The Flower Challenge – Anything Goes. I hope you get a chance to check out the other Design Team member’s cards, they are stunning!

Here is my card using this lovely digital image from DotBStamps.

Eunji Jung, the designer and owner, has some gorgeous images, it was hard not to buy them all! I love coloring this  gorgeous rose and can’t wait to color some more.

I printed the rose on some Copic friendly paper and then took out some Copics to color the image. I had actually colored the image a couple of months ago and never made a card with it.

I also had this background in my stash that I had made a while ago when I was experimenting with foil. I used the transfer gel and on this Heidi Swapp stencil and foiled it in Hot Pink. I love the look and thought it paired well with the rose.

I fussy cut the rose out and then adhered it with foam tape. The sentiment is in the inside since I didn’t want to cover up any of the foiling.
