Last Swim of Summer

I’m over at the Topflight blog today with this fun tag I created using this Studio Light – Art by Marlene Stamp. Just a heads up, today is the last day of the 25% off sale on all Studio Light and Carabelle Stamps at Topflight. So many wonderful goodies!

Here is the tag I made with the stamp.

I first used a used a gel plate, a stencil, acrylic paints to make the background on an old manila folder. I’m new at the gel plate and still have a lot of playing around to do to master the look, but I thought this was perfect for my swimmer.

I then stamped the image on another manila folder in black in used a combo of Copics and Sharpies to color her. I then used a gel pen to accent some of her details. I used a the Hello die is also from Studio Light. I die cut the hello on some navy cardstock as well as some foam to give it some dimension.

I used my gel pen to add dots and then some Glossy Accents to add some shine.
