Queen of Hearts

I’m over at the Topflight Stamps Blog today with this fantastic set from Visible Images.

All of the the images from this set are wonderful, but I’ve enjoyed playing with this one.

I started by stamping the image on Copic friendly paper with black Gina K Amalgam ink. I used a variety of blue, red, and yellow combinations to color this lovely queen.

Once I was finished, I used the heart stamp included in the set and some Distress Ink in Festive Berries to add the hearts as the background. Before I stamped the heart, I lightly spritzed the image to give it a watered down look.

When the hearts were dry, I used a gold pen to add some little golden hearts. I stamped the sentiments in Versafine ink and clear embossed them. I then used some gold washi tape in my stash to add to the navy card base and adhered the card.
