This month for The Flower Challenge it’s use a previous challenge so I thought I’d use challenge #14 CAS.
CAS is always a hard one for me since I have a tendency to fill up white space. But it’s good to challenge yourself, so here is my card using Power Poppy’s Countryside Bouquet and a simple flower in that set.
I first stamped the flower on some Inkon3 No Line Ink and then used my Prismacolor pencils to color in the image on some Colored Pencil Paper. I had originally cut the paper to be 3×3 but then decided I wanted to use this new die from Altenew.
So I fussy cut the image out and placed it on some white cardstock. I cut the frame from some gold foiled cardstock I had in my stash and adhered both onto the card base. I added the sentiment in gold embossing.
I also played around with this flower to make a little set. These aren’t exactly Clean and Simple since I added a little spray on the finished card.
For the second card, I used Distress Crayons to color the stamp and then stamp it on some watercolor cardstock.
Once I added the crayon to the stamp, I spritzed it with a little water and stamped it to the paper. I took the crayon and colored it on my craft mat so that I could use it as a paint to fill in the images. I added one of the gold frames and then spritzed with some gold spray and blotted a little off where I had sprayed it too much.
The third card I used watercolors and the same Inkon3 No Line Ink on watercolor paper.
Once the image was dry, I added another gold frame and stamped the Hello in some Reverse Confetti ink in grass and avocado in my Misti so that I could get a two tone look. I sprayed this too with some gold spray to add a little shine.
Here is a look at all three cards.
I hope you are inspired to play along with us over at The Flower Challenge.
