Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop

I’m playing along with one of my favorite hops the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop where there are always lots of beautiful inspiration and most importantly coffee!I have three cards today and hopefully will have more time to play later in the week.

For my first card I used this cute set from Gina Marie. I love these little coffee cups and the sentiments are perfect!

I started by stamping the cups on some Bristol Smooth with some Gina K Amalgam ink for a crisp image. I then used my Tombow Dual Brush Markers to color the cups. I then fussy cut the cups out and figured out where I would place them on the base. Then I used my markers and scribbled lines and spritzed them with water. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it. Then once the stripes of color were dry, I attached the cups with Zots to give the card a little dimension.

For my second card, I used my the same set but this time colored the image in with Copics.

I then fussy cut the cup and die cut a frame from some pattern paper I had in my stash. I also stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it. I added a little wooden heart with some twine to finish it off.

For my last card, I used a background I had made earlier from distress oxide inks and photopaper. For more details on how to create these fun backgrounds check out this post.

I cut out the coffee cup using some pattern paper and then used some Tombows to add shadows to the up.  The sentiments came for a Hero Arts and Verve set. I finished the card with some washi I had in my stash.
