I’m playing along with the Where Creativity Meets C9 and this month’s challenge is Floral.
There are so many beautiful Concord & 9th floral stamps but I decided to play with a new to me set: Lily. i love playing with watercolor and wanted to use a color I typically don’t use, so painted this with my Gansai Tambi.
Once the paint was dry, I masked off the flower and spritzed it with gold spray and some new Fresh Lime Dylusions Shimmer Spray. If you haven’t tried this spray check out the shimmer! I love it and will be using more on my cards!
Once that was dry I added the sentiment from a retired C9 set called Beautiful Branches and heat embossed it in Verdigris. This embossing powder has some texture to it that I love but was still fine enough for this beautiful script. I finished the card with some glittery washi tape.
Hope you enjoyed my card for today and thanks for stopping by!
