Watercolor Challenge

We are celebrating another challenge over at A Blog Named Hero. This month is one of my favorites because I love watercoloring.

Usually I watercolor flowers, but for this challenge I decided to do a simple card using this large ampersand. It’s an older stamp from Hero Arts but I still love it. Here is my card for the challenge.

I stamped the ampersand on Bristol Smooth paper in a light ink and then used my Winsor & Newton Watercolor pens in a rainbow pallet. Once the watercolors were dry I stamped the sentiments is Versafine ink and clear heat embossed them. I added some washi tape on the side and used a black card base.
