I’m so excited to be participating in this awesome blog hop for So Suzy & Crackerbox Stamps. You should have arrived here from the talented Olesya Kharkova’s blog.
I’ve been a fan since since I started my card making journey, almost three years ago. I found out about So Suzy through the Stamp Junkies Facebook group and entered a contest So Suzy was having and I actually won! (Hint hint you should play along too for some fabulous prizes!) As my prize, I got to pick out an image from their (then) new release. Talk about hard choices but this is the stamp I selected.
(FYI this is still one of my favorites and I often use it for cards.)
I love So Suzy for many things but the main one is their awesome selection of snarky sentiments. If you love snark, you’ve found the place to shop. There is even a Snarkfest and one of my snarky finding was chosen for a stamp. I feel so honored!
So Suzy has an awesome owner and their customer service rocks. The former owner, Suzanne Moore has wonderful and insightful So Suzy Podcasts . If you haven’t listened you don’t know the wealth of knowledge you are missing out on. Thanks to Suzanne and educational podcasts and classes, I now know how to price my cards, set up for a craft fair, and most importantly develop a blog and social media accounts for card making. Without her inspiration, I’d still be sitting in my craft room pondering what I should do next.
Happy Birthday & Anniversary to a great company with awesome and fun people. I look forward to celebrating many more years of snark with all of you! I hope you will also hop along with us for a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Without further ado here are the cards I made for this great blog hop. It was hard to stop making cards since there are so many awesome stamps I wanted to showcase.
For my first card I used this great coffee cup created paired with this awesome sentiment from Suzanne Moore. I love these together because I need my coffee to start my day off right.
I made the background on photo paper with some distress oxides in Black Soot and Walnut Stain. I stamped the cup on some Copic friendly paper and colored it in. I fussy cut the cup out and attached some twine and added a tag that I sprayed with shimmer mist with this So Suzy sentiment that I clear heat embossed.
I adhered the cup and tag to the cardbase with foam tape to give it a little dimension and then added some Nuvo Drops.
For my 2nd and 3rd card I used this beautiful tulip set. I heat embossed the first one in Rose Gold on watercolor paper.
Using my Gansai Tambi watercolors, I put a layer of yellow down and once it was fry added some red. The background was made with a dark blue and once it was dry, I splattered some yellow and gold to add a little more interest. I love this sentiment as well and thought it paired perfect with the tulips.
For my other tulip card, I used Polychromos pencils and stamped the image in Antique Linen Distress ink on some Toned Tan Sketch paper.
After I colored the flowers, I used some Spun Sugar Distress Ink and stamped a light text background. Its hard to see in the pictures because its so light but it added a little more to the plain background.
I used Distress Oxides with photo paper with this peacock image. I had a pile of backgrounds I had made using distress oxides and thought this would pair perfectly with the beautiful peacock.
I used my MISTI to stamp the image since photo paper is a little slick and heat embossed it in blue. Once it cooled, I used a Versamark Marker to color in the inner portion and heat embossed it with a lighter blue.
I had to create this last card with this fun snarky stamp. I created the background using alcholh inks on Yupo paper.
After the ink was dry, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I finished the card with some white sequins.
Thanks for joining us on this awesome blog hop.
