Exciting News!

 

 

Wow February was a busy month for us and I can’t believe that it is already March. I have some very exciting new, well at least for me. I’ve been selected to be on my first Design Team for A Blog Named Hero and I’m thrilled to be able to a part of such an awesome group of women.

Below is the card I made for my first post.

I wanted to do some no-line watercoloring with this cute hummingbird. I stamped the image in Antique Linen Distress Ink on some watercolor paper and used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors for the image.

Once the image was dry, I stamped the flower, in the same set, in Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I masked the flower to create a cluster of flowers and then added some branches.

Once the images were dry, I add some paint splatters and stamped the tiny “hello” sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Detail Clear Powder. I then attached it to a purple card base and added a couple of clear sequins for a little sparkle.
