I hope you are getting back into the swing of things after a fun holiday season. I’ve put away my Christmas stamps and am breaking out some old stamps I’ve had in my stash and inking them up. New Year’s Resolutions right?
The first that I decided to play with is this Hero Arts Spice Market Petal. I stamped this gorgeous background stamp in my MISTI in Versamark to make sure I got a good impression. Then white heat embossed the image.
I then took out my Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron, Peacock, Salty Ocean, and Lucky Clover and did some ink blending. The sentiment, white heat embossed on black cardstock, is from an older Hero Arts set called My Happy. For finishing touches I added a little sequins.
I made a second card with the same set but this time used some Embossing Powder I’ve had in my stash from Lindy’s Stamp Gang. Its a pretty green blue and leaves a shimmer on the cardstock as well.
I cut the stamp image in half after embossing it and then added white heat embossed the stripes from the My Happy set. The sentiment is also from the same set.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
