Winter Critters

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were all home sick so not our typical Thanksgiving but we are hoping the Christmas will be much better. The kids are back in school which means I had a chance to play with some new stamps from Reverse Confetti. I’m playing along with Reverse Confetti’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY Challenge.

My first card is made with this adorable set called Merry Christmoose. I love how cute this moose is!

First, I took some Ken Oliver Color Burst on some watercolor paper and spritzed with water. Once that was dry, I added some white spray to the background. I stamped the moose on Bristol Smooth paper in Versafine and clear embossed it and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brushes to add color to the moose and die cut him out. I used Zots on the back of the moose to give him a little more dimension.

I added the additional images to the background to make it look like a snowy scene. I used the RC Navy cardstock and added some glittery washi tape to the card base as well as some red foil tape that I picked up at the Target Dollar Spot (I’m always finding way too much stuff there). To finish the card off I added some snowflake sequins (also from Target). The sentiment is from RC Sentimental Christmas.

For my second card I used this equally adorable bear from Christmas Bear set.

I stamped the bear on some Bristol Smooth and used the Zigs to watercolor him and added the hat with some white Snow Marker to make it look fluffy!

I used the RC Navy Card stock as the base and die cut a piece from the All Framed Up Confetti Cut in RC Aqua and the Tag Me Too from the Warm Hearts Pattern Paper. To finish the card, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Silver Confetti and silver tinsel.

My third card I used RC Merry & Bright set.

I stamped the images using RC inks to get an ombré look. For the red bulb I used Salsa, Rose, and Flamingo and the green bulbs I used Grass, Parakeet, and Pistachio.

I used RC Brick cardstock and then attached the some vellum and added the Christmas Lights. To finish the card, I added some sequins and green glitter tape.
