Under the Sea

I’m playing along with the Marker Pop Challenge which is Under the Sea.

I love this beautiful mermaid from Whimsy Stamps. I normally use polymer or rubber stamps but I received this digital image as a member of Kit & Clowder. It’s easy to become a FB member just click here.

I started coloring the mermaid with my Copics using the techniques I learned from the monthly class. I love these color combos that Alyce has come up with. Once I was finished, I wanted to add some sparkle to her so I pulled out my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors to add a little shine. It’s a little hard to get a good photo of the sparkle. I added the sentiment from Reverse Confetti’s Mermaid Kisses. To finish the card, I adhered it to some shiny blue card stock I had in my stash.
