Fairy Godmother

Sometimes things work out great and sometimes they don’t. When they don’t you use this sentiment. 😉 I’m playing along #Snarktoberfest 2017 that Josefine at HolyLise.com has organized (check it out there are some hilarious cards!)

I stamped my Fairy Godmother from Unity Stamp Co on some Copic friendly paper and used some of the techniques I learned from the Kit & Clowder Coloring Classes to color this fun image up.

Once I was done coloring the image, I added some white gel pen to the dress, wings and crown. I then decided to color up the background and added more gel pen dots to enhance the fairy look. But she was lacking a little sparkle, so I added some more dots using the Viva Decor Silver Glitter Pen.

I used a stitched die to cut out the fairy and black cardstock. Since a fairy card, of course I used some pink glitter paper in my stash for the cardbase. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and used Brutus Monroe Sterling Embossing Powder.

Hope your day goes well and you can find some humor in it!
