Big Mug of Coffee

Sometimes you just need a big mug of coffee. The kids are going back to school which means early mornings for this regular night owl mom.

This is my 3rd card for the 2017 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog.

I first took some watercolor paper and used my Distress Oxide inks in Wild Honey, Fired Brick, and Spiced Marmalade. Then I added a burlap stencil on and blended in some Espresso Distress Ink. I then used my Distress Oxides and stamped Lead Prints after I spritzed it with water.

I wanted a very large cup so I found an image on my Silhouette and cut the paper I blended. I also blended the edges with some Ground Espresso Distress Ink to give the coffee cup more dimension. I stamped the sentiment from SugarPea Desgins Espresso Yourself and white embossed it.

For the base, I used some brown card-stock and the Autumn Blueprint and stamped it in Versamark Ink and clear embossed it to give it a little more dimension.

I used a frame from the Reverse Confetti All Framed Up die and then adhered the coffee cup on top of that.
