It’s been a busy an summer and the kids are finally back to school after a 2 week delay thanks to Hurricane Harvey. Thankfully, we are all safe and well but I’ll post more on that later.
Even though it doesn’t seem like fall weather here in Houston, I broke out the fall colors for my first card in the 2017 Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.
First, I took some Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink and lightly misted it with water. I used some tissue paper to blot it on the Bristol Smooth card base. Once it was dry, I repeated the step with Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide. I then stamped the coffee cup from Ellen Hutson Oh Frappe set and clear heat embossed them. I then stamped a leaf from the Verve’s Set Coffee Helps. I picked some fall colors for the cups and painted them with my Zig markers and adhered them with some Zots.
I found some orange cardstock and used the Reverse Confetti All Framed Up Confetti Cut and some Nuvo Crystal Drops to finish the card off.
P.S. I also entered this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your fall is starting off well.

I love these designs… too bad I haven’t had time to think of fall since I just finished all of my Halloween cards and am starting on Christmas. I think this would be great for Spring and Summer too… especially since Florida hasn’t really seen much of Fall or Winter in the last few years. LOL

Thanks so much. I know TX is the same way. I got excited when we had 2 days at 65 degrees and now we are back at 90 ugh.
