Concord & 9th

I playing along with Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge.

I decided I wanted to use a new to me stamp from Concord & 9th, the Barnwood Background. I made several versions by using my MISTI and stamping in Versamark Ink and using White, Ranger Weathered Wood, and Ranger Watering Can embossing powders. I love the different looks you get just by using different embossing powders.For my card I decided to use the white version and blend Antique Linen and Ground Espresso Distress ink into the paper.

I then took the Hello Lovely stamp and did some no-line watercoloring of the flowers using Prismacolor watercolor pencils. I fussy cut the flowers out and adhered it with foam tape to the Barnwood Background.

I die cut the hello from Say hello set in a sparkly blue paper I had in my stash and layered it several time so that it had some dimension. I added a little gel pen to the flowers to highlight several areas and added some clear sequins.
