Thank You Cards

My daughter just turned 3 so I made three Thank You cards for the MarkerPop Challenge to give to family and friends.

The first card I made using the Concord & 9th You’re My Person stamp on some Strathmore Watercolor Paper in Ranger Archival Ink in my MISTI. Then using my Tombow Markers, I watercolored the image in the colors of the challenge. I added a lighter blue around the image to give the image more depth. I die cut the paper with the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop die and adhered it to some yellow card-stock. For the sentiment I used Altenew’s Label Love and heat embossed it in some blue embossing powered I had.  I added some Caribbean Ocean Nuvo Crystal Drops at the end.

I also entered this card in the Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #9.

For my second card, I used Altenew’s Wild Hibiscus on some Bristol Smooth paper with my Tombow Markers. I then used the yellow the yellow marker to give the background a yellow wash and added a slight stripe.

I just received this awesome Honey Bee Hello Gorgeous stamp and die. I used the die to cut out the thanks sentiment and then stamped it in Aquamarine Ranger Archival Ink. I cut down the panel and adhered it to this gorgeous Aqua cardstock from Reverse Confetti. I added some White Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flowers and card to finish it off.

For my third card, I used A Lil’ Magic set from Greeting Farms. I colored the unicorn with my Copics in the Rainbow Dash (from My Little Pony) look since this is my daughter’s current favorite My Little Pony. I adhered it to the orange card base with pop dots and added the thank you sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Many Thanks set.

I made a little rainbow with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Glitter, Red Berry, Dandelion Yellow, woodland Green, and Midnight Blue. And every unicorn needs a sparkly cloud made out of paper.
