Floral Mother’s Day

I love all the beautiful floral stamps Altenew has created. For these two cards I used the Wild Hibiscus stamp set.

I started with Smooth Bristol paper and stamped the images in Versafine ink in my Misti and embossed the images with Brustus Monroe Gilded Embossing powder. I’m starting to get the hand of creating more than one card at a time using the MISTI.

I love using the Zig Clean Color Brush pens for water coloring and painted the flowers as well as put a light wash of color on the background. Once everything was dry, I took the Happy Words stamp set from Concord & 9th and used Versamark ink and magenta embossing powder. I finished the cards up with some gold sequins.

  1. Your floral cards are lovely, Ericka! I need to get some more colored embossing powders – they’re so fun! Thanks for joining us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
