Lucky Card

I’m playing along with The Ton’s March Challenge and decided to make a card for St. Patrick’s day.

fullsizeoutput_2720I used the Dahlia Close Up and heat embossed it in Brutus Monroe Gilded on Bristol Smooth paper. I then took my Zig markers in lightly traced a four leaf clover and tried to color the inside a bit lighter. It doesn’t really show up but below is an example I tried with Color Bursts to give you an idea of what I was trying to do.

The four leaf clover became a little blurred after I sprayed it with some gold shimmer spray. But I still love the look.

I didn’t have a “Lucky” sentiment, so I took the Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script and Perfectly Planned stamped out the sentiment and embossed in clear embossing powder. I added some gold washi to highlight the gold embossing. Can you ever have too much gold?

And there you have it a fun spring card! Thanks for reading and have a lucky day!
