Welcome to my first blog post!
Thanks for stopping by. I’ve been making cards for a little over a year and was inspired to create a blog after following So Suzy Sessions. Suzanne Moore from So Suzy Stamps has so many useful and wonderful podcasts to get new card makers started.
My friend Jen del Muro from Reverse Confetti is responsible for getting me hooked on stamping. Previously, I was making cards using my daughter’s abstract art work (we called it painting with cas) and sending them to family and friends. My world opened once I bought my first (ok maybe 7) stamps from Reverse Confetti. Since then I have found so many wonderful stamp companies and tools to use in my card making journey.
Here are two of my first real cards I made about a 1 1/2 years ago with my limited supplies and card making experience.
Since then I have been busy hoarding collecting stamps and supplies and its become a growing passion.
I made this card the other day using Reverse Confetti’s Tweet Life , a Whole Lotta Happy Set, and Lacy Scallop Frames. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops after I was done. These drops are great for adding pops of color to your project.
Thanks to you for stopping in and taking the time to read my first post!
Have a wonderful day!
P.S. I’ve entered this card into the challenge over at the Reverse Confetti SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY. Up for grabs is a $20 gift certificate to Reverse Confetti store!
Love hearing your story — and you make great cards.
